What are pullulan plant-based gelcaps?
Pullulan is an all-natural polysaccharide (a polymer in the carbohydrate family) obtained by fermentating tapioca or cornstarch, using a strain of fungus (Aureobasidium pullulans). In addition to its 100% plant-based composition, its production requires no chemical additives.
